Abstract

The creation of a network of ecovillages, as a project and means of territorial re-qualification, urban, environmental, socio-economic and of re-projecting the landscape, comes about as a response to the phenomenon of de-population which has affected many minor Calabrian centers.

Several mountain centers and in particular those having to do with the Mountain Community of Mounts Tiriolo –Mancuso-Reventino, have been an object of study, and lend themselves to a re-projecting of mountain landspcape by means of the creation of a network of ecovillages which will become part of the Global Network of Ecovillages (GEN)
