Abstract

“On the Paths of the Russian Poetic Avant-Garde in Israel”. The article investigates the principal trends of the Russian-language avant-garde poetry created in Israel in the 1970s-2000s by repatriates from the former USSR. Works by seven prominent literary figures are examined within various historical and artistic contexts: Mikhail Grobman, Ilia Bokstein, Henry Volokhonsky, Mikhail Gendelev, Gali-Dana Singer, Alexander Barash, and Anna Gorenko.
