Abstract

On October 8, 2019 the Chamber of Deputies approved the text of the A.C. constitutional law.
1585 B, already approved in second resolution by the Senate (A.S. n. 214 515 805 B), which reduces the number of parliamentarians as established in the Constitution, in Articles 5 6 and 57, to 400 deputies and 200 elected senators. The confirmatory popular referendum provided for in Article 138 of the Constitution will be held on this text on 29 March 2020.
In this brief contribution, an attempt will be made to outline some reflections on the impact of the
enza that any favourable outcome of the referendum in question will affect the balance of the
our form of government.
