Abstract

This article aims to investigate the symbolic constructs that the contemporary Italian cinema creates through a representation of everyday life placed in peripheral contexts. In the first part of the article, drawing inspiration from the film studies methodology, a systematic analysis of the films, that releates the diversity of approach to everyday life, is made. In the second part, through tools attributable to sociological research, an attempt is made to problematize the symbolic constructs created by film works.
