SHARE Journals (formerly SeReNa) is the platform for the management and publication of open access scientific journals on behalf of the SHARE Interuniversity Consortium (Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research).

SeReNa, System for electronic peer-Reviewed journals @ university of Naples, was the first platform for the management and online publication of open access scientific journals, realized in 2007 by the University Center for Libraries "Roberto Pettorino" of the University of Naples "Federico II" with the software Open Journal Systems.

Since 2015, SeReNa is made available to other universities participating in the SHARE (Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research) Project: Naples L'Orientale, Naples Parthenope, Salerno, Sannio and Basilicata. The publication of journals, with the editorial name of SHARE Press and / or with the imprint of the publishing university, is made at the request of one of the contracting entities.

Through a protocol, SeReNa is available to the Society of Naturalists in Naples and to the CEA of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio for institutional open access publishing.

Starting from 2019, with the migration to OJS3, SeReNa becomes SHARE Magazines going to complete a process of integration towards the SHARE galaxy.

Journals have to satisfy precise minimum requirements, verified at the time of the request for publication and monitored before the legal deposit of every journal issue.
